Laura L. Morris, MD, MBA, FACS

Breast Surgeon

Dr. Laura Morris is a dedicated breast surgeon and advocate for women’s health. As a board-certified surgeon, she has focused solely on diseases of the breast for the past several years. In that time, she has been dedicated to both improving surgical techniques and educating women and physicians on prevention, detection and treatment of breast problems. Dr. Morris also serves as the medical director of The Retreat, Goshen Health System’s women’s health center.

Dr. Morris is a clinical assistant professor of surgery in the department of surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine. This appointment establishes a greater ability for clinical collaboration and participation in IU clinical research projects.

After completing her breast surgery fellowship at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Dr. Morris became an active assistant professor of surgery at her alma mater. At the same time, she completed her master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in healthcare management. She has also been the principal investigator in several breast-related research projects and the author of journal articles, book chapters, teaching curriculum and electronic teaching tools for breast health.
