
Kristan Rheinheimer, RN, MSN, FNP, OCN
Nurse Practitioner
Kristan Rheinheimer is a certified family nurse practitioner with years of experience working with cancer patients. Prior to joining the Center for Cancer Care, she was a staff nurse at Michiana Hematology and Oncology where she administered chemotherapy, educated patients, assisted physicians and led a breast cancer support group among other responsibilities. She has worked as an oncology staff nurse at Saint Joseph Medical Center in South Bend and as a staff nurse with terminally ill patients at Elkhart Community Hospice.
Kristan received her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Saint Francis and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Saint Francis College, both in Fort Wayne, Ind. She is a native of Goshen and is dedicated to caring for area residents.
At the Center for Cancer Care, Kristan works closely with the surgical oncologists and medical oncologists to help educate, prepare patients and coordinate their oncologic care. She works independently with patients who have chronic medical conditions. Kristan coordinates the immunotherapy program for patients with metastatic melanoma and metastatic renal cell carcinoma.
She also enjoys providing health and wellness education to underserved populations in the community.
