
Sandra Carbone
Survivor Network Coordinator
Sandra Carbone is the Survivor Network Coordinator who comes to Goshen Center for Cancer Care after eight years as the executive director of LoveWay, Inc. in Middlebury, Ind. She is responsible for facilitating a program of support for current cancer patients and cancer survivors. Sandra supports cancer patients by providing a comprehensive array of education and networking opportunities for all stages of living with, through and beyond cancer. Her many years of leadership experience in the nonprofit sector gives her the ability to foster collaborations between people of all ages and from diverse backgrounds.
Sandra received her Bachelor of Science degree in communication and counseling psychology from Grace College, Winona Lake, Ind., and also went on to study professional communication at the Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne campus (IPFW), Fort Wayne, Ind. While in Fort Wayne, Sandra held a graduate teaching fellowship in the Communications Department and taught entry-level speech classes to undergraduates at IPFW. Sandra comes to Goshen Center for Cancer Care with 15 years of experience in marketing and management. Her combination of public relations, community development and lifelong dedication to the public sector blend together to successfully guide the Survivor Network at Goshen Center for Cancer Care.
